Brett McGhie

Graduating in 2010 with a Masters of Physiotherapy, Brett McGhie has worked in Private practice since. With a keen interest in movement patterns, Brett completed his study of Functional Movement Systems and Selective Functional Movement Assessment .

With a wealth of knowledge surrounding the movement of runners and functional fitness goers Brett enjoys running small work shops at cross-fit gyms to encourage safe practice.

Having grown up as a competitive swimmer and state representative surf life saver, Brett moved onto a career in water polo. He won many state and national championships but rounded out his career representing Australia at the World Junior (Under 21) Championships.

Brett still has a strong presence in the water polo community and enjoys staying fit himself thru swimming at the local masters swim squad and pounding the pavement along our beautiful coast.

Kyle Freeman

A keen interest in sports and his own experiences with injury and rehabilitation, led Kyle to a career as a Physiotherapist.

Since graduating from the University of Notre Dame, Kyle has worked in private practice. He has completed further studies in Dry Needling and running related injuries.

Playing a variety of junior and amateur sports such as Aussie rules footy, basketball and baseball has given Kyle a well rounded approach to treating a variety of musculoskeletal injuries.

Outside of work Kyle keeps fit and maintains his sanity by running and spending some time in the gym. A big believer in balance, you might find Kyle training for a half marathon or enjoying a delicious beverage.

Glencora McGhie

Our practice manager, Glencora actually graduated Curtin University in 2007 as a Dental Therapist. Still practicing today she now shares her time and skills with us.

With 15 years of experience in the health care industry, she primarily treats children and adolescents. Her empathetic, caring approach and proficient attention to detail translates to skills that help our business run efficiently.

Glencora not only shares her time between our physio practice and the school dental practice but she and Brett have 3 young children at home.

To unwind and keep fit, Glencora swims with a masters squad and plays in the Australian Water Polo League. Fun fact:  she is the games record holder for the AWL, having notched up over 400 games! She is an Olympic bronze medallist, representing Australia at the 2012 London Olympic and 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
